She was born in Punjab, India and immigrated with her parents to Vancouver at age 2. Preetka was raised and educated in Vancouver where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Sociology and a Bachelor of Education from the University of British Columbia and then went on to obtain her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Alberta in 2006.

Which immigration pathway should you take to Canada? As an experienced litigator, Preetka has the strong legal foundation needed to successfully guide her clients through the complicated Canadian immigration system.

Since her call to the Bar in 2008, Preetka has practiced as a civil litigator representing hundreds of personal injury clients throughout the litigation process, ensuring resolution of their claims by way of trial, negotiation, or mediation.

The focus of Preetka’ s global immigration practice is to work closely with her legal team to efficiently facilitate her client’s application processes to Canada.
